Measurement, cookies and advertising on this website
This section describes what is measured on www.ullmanna.ai. It supplements the text above and reflects the current state.
Our own traffic measurement – no cookies
We count page views ourselves, on our own server, without passing anything to third parties. We store the page, time, visible time on page, scroll depth, language, device type, operating system, browser, screen size, country/region/city, the referring site, campaign parameters (UTM) and – for ad clicks – only the type of click identifier (e.g. “gclid”), never its value.
Your IP address is not stored. It is used once to determine the location and the network operator; if the network belongs to an organisation (company, university, authority), we store that organisation’s name, and possibly its domain from the reverse DNS name – never for private or mobile internet connections. The visitor identifier is a hash of IP, browser signature and a key that changes daily.
In your browser, a small script measures time on page, scroll depth, loading times and clicks on phone numbers, e-mail addresses, downloads and external links. It reads no identifiers and stores nothing on your device.
Raw data is deleted after 13 months; after that only aggregated daily figures remain. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time: www.ullmanna.ai/?stats_optout=1 switches the measurement off in this browser (the cookie ull_optout stores your objection).
Comfort & analysis (session analysis) – only with your consent
With your consent we set the cookie ull_v with a random identifier (13 months, not extended) so we can recognise a return visit, and record clicks for heatmaps and the course of your visit as a session recording (rrweb, hosted on our own server). Everything you type into form fields is masked in your browser and never recorded. Recordings are deleted after 90 days and are not shared with anyone.
When you send an enquiry, we attach the course of the same visit (how you found us, which pages you read) so we can answer it better. Earlier visits are only included if you consented to comfort & analysis.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021). You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings”.
Google Analytics 4 – only with your consent
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-J4P1CKH5KF) provided by Google Ireland Limited. Google sets cookies and processes usage data, in part on servers in the United States. The IP address is truncated (anonymize_ip).
Without consent, Google Analytics runs in consent mode: no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.
Meta Pixel and Conversions API – only with your consent
With your consent we load the Meta Pixel (ID 174944418804026) provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform and to build audiences.
In addition we send certain events – such as submitting a contact form or confirming a newsletter subscription – directly from our server to Meta (Conversions API). Your email address and name are hashed with SHA-256 before transmission, as Meta requires; they never leave our server in clear text. This transmission also happens only if you have consented.

LinkedIn Insight Tag – only with your consent
With your consent we load the LinkedIn Insight Tag (partner ID 5391921) provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, to measure how our LinkedIn ads perform.

Cookies we set
ull_consent – stores your choice in the consent banner, valid one year. Essential.
ull_v – recognises return visits, 13 months, only with consent to comfort & analysis.
ull_optout – stores your objection to the measurement, 5 years. Essential.
ull_lang – stores the language you chose in the language menu, so the site no longer switches automatically to your browser language; 1 year. Essential.
PHPSESSID – only when you submit a form, to prevent duplicate submissions. Ends with the session.
Google, Meta and LinkedIn set their own cookies once you have consented. See their respective privacy notices for details.
Contact form
What you enter reaches us by email and is additionally stored in our database so that no enquiry is lost in a spam filter. We use it solely to answer your enquiry.
Legal basis: steps prior to a contract and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
Newsletter
Subscription uses double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation email and are only added to the list after clicking the confirmation link. We store your address, the time of subscription, the source and a shortened hash of your IP address as proof of consent.
In our newsletters we measure whether a message was opened and whether a link was clicked. This helps us judge which topics are of interest.
Every message contains an unsubscribe link. After unsubscribing we send nothing further; the entry is kept as a block so you are not contacted again by mistake.

Embedded content from YouTube and Instagram
Videos and Instagram posts are loaded only after you explicitly click them. Before that, no connection to Google or Meta is made.
