01 Overview
The size of a toolbox
Roughly the size of a toolbox: 243 × 171 × 146 mm. It mounts on the tool frame directly above one crop row. Every row gets its own box, so a 12-row hoe carries twelve of them, each looking straight down at its own plants.
-
02 2D camera
One camera sees every plant
The 2D camera in the centre looks down at the row, synchronised with the flash. It delivers the images in which the AI finds the root point of each crop plant: the spot where the plant enters the soil.
-
03 3D cameras
Depth for the working height
The two small cameras are the 3D cameras. They read plant and soil height for their row. That is how the blades follow the ground and how the system tells a crop plant from a weed standing lower or higher next to it.
-
04 Flash LEDs
Its own light, day and night
Four high-power flash LEDs behind lenses light the row for every frame. Sun position, cloud shadow, dusk or dust make no difference to the image, so detection works the same at 6 am and at 10 pm.
-
05 AI module
Decisions made in the box
The AI module sits right under the finned lid. It decides about three times per second per row and hands the coordinate to the blade in roughly 15 milliseconds. No connection is needed to hoe, and the fins carry the heat away without a fan.
-
06 Connectors
Two plugs to connect
Sealed industrial connectors for power and data face the machine frame. Once they are plugged in, the box talks to the power box and the terminal. No tools are needed, and no loose cables hang in the row.
-
07 Housing
Aluminium profile, screwed shut
An extruded aluminium profile with screwed end plates keeps dust, water and vibration out and conducts heat. The handle on top lets a mechanic lift a box out of its bracket and swap it in minutes.

08 Your turn
Take it in your hands
Drag to turn, scroll or pinch to zoom, tap the points for details. On an Android phone you can also place the box in your own workshop with the AR button.
AROW box
One box per row, everything inside.
Cameras, flash lighting and the AI computer sit in one sealed aluminium housing above the crop row. Scroll to walk around it, then turn it yourself at the end.
